Overview
Stockite is a workspace for business inventory and sales operations. This policy explains the information used to provide the service, including account access, workspace activity, support, and billing.
If you use Stockite through an organisation, that organisation manages the information it adds to its workspace and decides who has access to it. Contact your workspace administrator about information your organisation holds in Stockite.
Information we use
Account information includes your name, email address, company name, password credentials, and email verification status. Workspace information can include products, stock levels, locations, orders, invoices, supplier and customer contact details, and team membership.
We also process support messages, notification preferences, billing references, and technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request and security logs. Only add customer or supplier information you are authorised to use.
How information is used
Information is used to create and authenticate accounts, provide workspace features, apply access permissions, process requested transactions, deliver service emails, respond to support requests, and investigate errors or misuse.
Workspace activity and transaction records help your team understand changes and maintain a consistent record of business operations.
Keeping and protecting data
Account and workspace information is retained as needed to provide the service, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable obligations. The appropriate retention period depends on the information and the reason it is held.
Stockite uses authentication and workspace access controls to restrict access. Keep your credentials private, assign team roles carefully, and contact support if you suspect unauthorised access.
Your choices & requests
You can update available profile details and notification preferences in your workspace. Contact your workspace administrator about access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of information your organisation manages.
For questions about your account information or a privacy request, use the contact options in our help center. Include enough information to identify your account, but never send a password or verification token. Requests may require identity verification.
Updates to this policy
This page may be updated as the service changes. The date above indicates the most recent revision. Check this page for the current description of how Stockite handles information.
